Home Care Package is one of the major services provided by the Elderly Australian Chinese Homes for the seniors that requires additional assistance at home. Home care packages provides services for the seniors living in their own homes or rental accommodation.
Seniors who have complex care needs that would qualify for residential care but still wish to live at home will receive services under Home Care Package.
The Department of Health has given approvals and funding to the Elderly Australian Chinese Homes since July 1994. Currently EACH is providing services for 35 Chinese clients who are residing in the local areas.

Anyone over the age of 65 can apply
All applicants must first be approved by the Aged Care Assessment Team(ACAT)
